I am a kept woman.

My life is restored and energy renewed.

I have fallen, I have failed,

I have lost, I have been defeated,

I have cried myself to sleep,

I’ve been depressed and drowned in sorrow,

I’ve fought anxiety and suicidal thoughts,

I’ve been abandoned and forgotten,

I’ve been through financial crisis,

I’ve struggled with my self-esteem,

I have lost people and things I treasured,

I have tried taking my own life,

I have given up on everything including myself,

I have starved myself,

I have experienced pain,

I have hit rock bottom,

           Yet am here, with so much hope and audacious faith.

I choose to be strong and fearless,

I am healing,

I am learning,

I am loving more,

I am smiling more,

I am taking good care of me,

I am praying more,

I am plugging into positive spaces,

I am believing,

I am growing,

I am powerful,

I AM KEPT BY GOD…!!!!
